Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has insisted the club are focused on bringing in the best players this summer.
The Gunners have missed out on the Premier League title in the past two seasons. With Manchester City pipping them to the title on both occasions. And the team is looking to strengthen its squad for next season UFABET
With Euros and the 2024 Copa America on the horizon, transfers have slowed somewhat. But Arteta is hopeful things will start soon. Saying: “We are trying to improve in every position possible.”
“With the new regulations there are some things we have to do and be aware of. Of course, the Euros and the Copa America slowed things down. Hopefully now it’s a little bit better.”
Asked how active he expects Arsenal to be in the summer. Arteta said: “I think both ways (players coming in and out) there are things we need to improve. That’s for sure and we are. We will try to do that.”
“But the market has its tricks, we are very aggressive and we have a clear idea of what we want to do. It’s about finding the right players at the right time.”
Arteta also highlighted a number of other injury issues. When asked if the problems could link back to the amount of football that players are being asked to complete.
