Goodreads Monday 12/2

I swear this year just started and here we are at the end. How? HOW I ASK OF YOU???

It’s Monday and apparently a snow storm is about to make it’s way through my state. Happy December indeed. Monday also means Goodreads Monday.

Goodreads Monday is a meme that gets all credit from @Lauren’s Page Turners .

Goodreads Monday is a weekly meme hosted here. To participate, choose a random book from your TBR and show it off. Don’t forget to link back here and feel free to add your links to the comments so that others can see what you picked.

Curiouser and curiouser…

Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll, Arthur Rackham

After a tumble down the rabbit hole, Alice finds herself far away from home in the absurd world of Wonderland. As mind-bending as it is delightful, Lewis Carroll’s 1865 novel is pure magic for young and old alike.

Why I Wanna Read It

Absolutely ashamed that I haven’t yet. Alice in Wonderland is legendary in weirdness and unabashedly so. Since getting Disney Plus I have watched it at least 10 times. When I was a kid the obscure-ness delighted me and that hasn’t changed at all. The rabbit hole, the mushrooms, the talking cat, the queen of hearts.

I noticed that the first book is 2.99 on Kindle Unlimited so I will definitely be indulging soon.

What’s your Goodreads Monday? Happy December!!

  2. omg we are twins again, I also am ashamed of not reading Alice’s Adventures In Wonderland yet! 😀 ❤ Had picked it up from the library, bought it, watched at least one adaptation, and basically should have read it half my life ago and regret not doing so. Hope you enjoy reading it when you do.

  3. I want to read this one sometime too. Hopefully next year as I’m going to try and start reading a few classics then. I’ve always loved adaptations of it though and have a lot of retellings of it on my TBR.
