Juliet: It’s about vegetables!!

Me: What’s your favorite vegetables?

Juliet stands up and puts her arms in the air: Cucumbers!!! And corn!

Me: Would you recommend this book to other kids?

  1. OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!! Juliet you are my vegetable soulmate!!! CORN AND CUCUMBER ARE MY FAVS TOO!!!!!!!!! And peas…. My brother likes to tell this story of when I was a toddler and my mum had put the grocery bags on the floor and I dived into the bags… to pull out NOT SWEETS OR SUCH TREATS…… but a cucumber that I happily chomped into with no care in the world LMAO!!!! <33333

  2. This is so dope. I’ve actually done a similar thing with my nephew, part of my ongoing mission to get him to read (by getting him to share his thoughts on the book which I then share on the blog)… also maybe to justify me still reading the occasional children’s book lol
