I can’t believe we are almost done with October 😦 It went by so fast

Oh god, that means I have to do a wrap up post soon don’t I…

I’m…not at all ready.

It’s time for

This meme was formerly hosted by MizB at A Daily Rhythm and revived here on Taking on a World of Words. Just answer the three questions below and leave a link to your post in the comments for others to look at.

The Three Ws are:

What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

I am currently reading

I’m reading a horror manga my friend Arian reccomended my awhile ago. Despite it’s name of course it’s anything but 🙂 So, I meant to just buy Kindle Unlimited for one month but accidentally got it for 6 months lmfaooo. How I did this I HAVE NO IDEA but whatever…Anyway, I’m happy to announce that this manga is available on Kindle Unlimited!

Happiness (Happiness #1) by Shuzo Oshimi

THE THIRST Nothing interesting in happening in Makoto Ozaki’s first year of high school. HIs life is a serise of quiet humiliations: low-grade bullies, unreliable friends, and the constant frustration of his adolescent lust. But one night, a pale, thin girl knocks him to the ground in an alley and offers him a choice. Now everything is different. Daylight is searingly bright. Food tastes awful. And worse than anything is the terrible, consuming thirst. The tiny shames of his old life have been replaced by two towering horrors: the truth of what will slake his awful craving, and high school itself.

I just finished reading…

What’s next???

Emer just told me about The Deathless Girls which seems super interesting! I also want to read a few October anthologies before this spooky month is done for another year. Whatever I choose will be something creepy of course. LOL what’s your WWW?

  1. Oct has gone by insanely fast. I feel like I’ll blink and it’ll be Nov already 😛 I usually like to comment on the books you’ve read but these look terrifying. Perhaps not the first one as much? Or perhaps the pastel colours are lulling me in to a false sense of vamp-loving security?? Jen

    1. lmaoooo they really are ALL scary tbh. i’ve been only reading horror for the month if october and it’s messing up my dreams i’ve been having the creepiest of nightmares. you’d think I would learn by now.

      1. I’m enjoying it so far! But I’m reading it very slowly, done I currently do not have that much listening time haha

  2. What is this about wrap-up posts already? Noooo, I’m not ready either. *sobs*

Yay for KU for six months. xD That sounds like something I’d do, but heeey, it’s hard to complain about extra months of KU haha.

Ghost looks super cute. I love all the illustrations! I never understood spooky stories aimed at children, because I could never handle spooky stories, but now that I have a kid who LOVES them and is afraid of nothing except, like, mice and spiders … now I get it. xD
