Goodreads Monday 10/7

Happy second week of October!! I hope everyone is having a good start to the spookening month! It’s Goodreads Monday! What’s Goodreads Monday ya ask?

Goodreads Monday is a meme that gets all credit from @Lauren’s Page Turners .

Anya’s Ghost by Vera Brosgol

Anya could really use a friend. But her new BFF isn’t kidding about the “Forever” part.

Of all the things Anya expected to find at the bottom of an old well, a new friend was not one of them. Especially not a new friend who’s been dead for a century.

Falling down a well is bad enough, but Anya’s normal life might actually be worse. She’s embarrassed by her family, self-conscious about her body, and she’s pretty much given up on fitting in at school. A new friend—even a ghost—is just what she needs.

Or so she thinks. Spooky, sardonic, and secretly sincere, Anya’s Ghost is a wonderfully entertaining debut from author/artist Vera Brosgol

Why I Want To Read It

This looks wonderfully cute and I really want to read some more graphic novels and this is definitely one I’ve been dying to pick up! It’s creepy themed too so it’ll definitely be on my next to read for sure.

What’s your Goodreads Monday pick??? Have you read Anya’s Ghost?

  1. Ooh yes to the graphic novel! Maybe no to the spooky aspect, but it doesn’t seem like it would be too bad? I’m a chicken for spooky stuff so I tend to be cautious 😛 If it’s more MG genre then I’m adding this to my TBR!
