Juliet’s Corner: Fluffy’s Happy Halloween by Kate McMullan

Happy Saturday!!! Fall weather has arrived and I am thriving ya’ll. We are here for the autumn installment of

Fluffy’s Happy Halloween by Kate McMullan

Synopsis:

It’s Halloween and Count Fluffula is ready Fluffy leads the class Halloween Parade, impersonates the Pumpkin of Doom, and dines on Monster Eyeballs

So Juliet has an ipad which she got on her seventh birthday so she would leave my kindle alone and on it she has the Epic app installed! Epic is the leading digital library for kids offering unlimited access to 35000 of the best children’s books of all time.

I love it honestly. It lets her read as much as possible and tracks her progress and she loves it. It’s only 7.99 USD a month so if you have a little one and you want them to read more I’d definitely give it a chance. I say all of this because that’s where we read this book together πŸ™‚ Okay now onto…

Juliet’s Q+A

Me: What was Fluffy’s Happy Halloween about?

Juliet: There were different stories. I liked Fluffy and the Pumpkin of Doom.

Me: Why do you like that one?

Juliet: I liked how Fluffy scared the other guinea pig named Kiss, it was funny and cute.

Me: It looks really cute. What other story in the book did you like?

Juliet: Fluffy and the monster eyeballs because in the end Fluffy ate the eyeballs and they were made of grapes!!

Me: That sounds so yummy. I like grapes.

Juliet: Yeah, me too.

Me: Would you like to read more about Fluffy and his adventures?

Juliet: Yeah, I like guinea pigs. They”re my favorite animals. We used to have one. I miss him.

Me: Yeah, me too. What would you rate this book??

Juliet: TEN PUMPKINS!!

  2. I love this idea! I’d never heard of Epic, but I might have to look into that! My daughter’s eight, and she’s got a tablet, and this Christmas we’re giving her a Nook. She’s not a huge reader, but this sounds like something she might use often, so thanks for the heads-up!

Tell Juliet she did a fantastic job with this review. πŸ˜‰ Sounds like she had some fun, and this sounds like it was a really cute book.
