Welcome to the first September of Juliet’s Corner!
Juliet is back at school so she chose a library book for her read today! I am so jealous of the library at her school. It’s magical really.
Her book of choice this Saturday is…
Are You Ready to Play Outside by Mo Willems

Gerald is careful. Piggie is not.
Piggie cannot help smiling. Gerald can.
Gerald worries so that Piggie does not have to.
Gerald and Piggie are best friends.
In Are You Ready to Play Outside?, Piggie can’t wait to go play in the sunshine. But will a rainy day ruin all the fun?
Me: So what was the book about?
Juliet: Elephants make the bestest friends.
Me: Really?! How so?
Juliet:The elephant used his ear as an umbrella and it was so nice.
Me: Would you want an elephant as your best friend?
Juliet: Yeah and a pig named Piggy.
Me: What was your favorite part in the book?
Juliet: When the worms were playing in the rain.
Me: Do you like the rain?
Juliet: No, because it makes my hair soggy.
Me: I like the rain.
Juliet: How dare you.
*We glare at one another*
Me: Did you like this book?
Juliet: Yeah and I would tell other kids to read it.
Me: What would you rate it?
Juliet: 5.
Me:Anything to say?
Juliet: I started school and I like my teacher.

Yes yes yes Juliet, I totally agree! Elephants (and pandas actually!) definitely make the bestest of friends. 100% on board with having an elephant BFF! Another awesome read and interview with this cutie 😍
