It’s the end of August and a Saturday!! So you know what that means…Yes, welcome one and all it’s time for Juliet’s Corner!!
School is literally next week and I don’t understand where summer went. On one hand I’m happy that we are going to be leaving this heat behind and get into the better/cooler seasons but at the same time everything is going so fast. It’s insane!
Ahem, anyway though, Juliet has picked a classic for us. And what would that be?
Corduroy by Don Freeman
Have you ever dreamed of being locked in a department store at night? The endearing story of Corduroy paints a picture of the adventures that might unfold (for a teddy bear at least) in such a situation. When all the shoppers have gone home for the night, Corduroy climbs down from the shelf to look for his missing button. It’s a brave new world!
