Top Ten Tuesday: Books I’ve Read That I’d Like In My Personal Library

Hi, welcome to this marvelous edition of Top Ten Tuesday. What is Top Ten Tuesday you ask?

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme that was originally created by The Broke and the Bookish but was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.

This week’s topic is…

August 27:  Books I’ve Read That I’d Like In My Personal Library (perhaps you checked it out, borrowed it from a friend, received it for review, etc. and want to own it yourself.) (Submitted by Annemieke @ A Dance with Books)

I love this prompt because basically it means every book that I’ve currently read since the majority of them are from libraries or ARCs or DRCs. Let’s get to it. Again, I proably won’t do all ten because extreme laziness.

Grimworld by Avery Moray

You can read my review here about this stunning book. It’s not expected to be published until November 1st of this year but I absolutely need at least two copies on my shelf. Let me throw my money at you, Avery.

The Hunting Party by Lucy Foley

Group of college friends trapped in a snowed in hunting lodge. AND MURDER??? This was such a great read. I highly rec it as well.

Big Little Lies by Liane Moriarty

I listened to the audio book of this a yer ago and I am not a big fan of audio books, they’re usually hit or miss for me. This one was fantastic though. Funny, devilish, and charming. Of course, I’m also a huge fan of the show. Well worth the hype.

Find Your Glow, Feed your Soul by Emily Silva

Because life is exhausting, love is insane, and I am always sad and anxious. Check out my review here.

The Mother-In-Law by Sally Hepworth

My first taste of Sally Hepworth. I loved everything about this book because I love messy relationships within the family. It probably just makes me feel better about my own.

Sailor Moon by Naoko Takeuchi

It’s not surprise that I’m a mega weeb. I’ve loved Sailor Moon since I was 5. I have NOT read all the manga which is downright criminal. I remember reading this one though and I want it, I need it.

That Last Weekend by Laura Disilverio

Another murder mystery about old college friends. I just…love murder mysteries and whodunnits sfm.

Honeymoon Hotel by Hester Browne

One of my all time favorite chick lits. It’s funny and actually helped me a lot through my breakup earlier this summer. I related to the protagonist a lot and it was a reminder to myself to never settle for less than what I deserve in a partner.

The Homecoming by Andrew Pyper

Wow. Just WOW. This was an amazing mix of horror, scifi, and the supernatural. It made me go ‘WHAT IN THE FUCK’ several times.

Harry Potter Illustrated Edition by J.K. Rowling and Jim Kay

Obviously I’ve read the original versions to literal tatters but I received two of the illustrated books for Christmas and I need more 🙂 These are perfect for reading to my daughter and turning her into a Potterhead.

And there you have it! Wow, I was not planning on doing all 10 lmao.

Have you read any of these? Have them in your own collection? If so, give me. Also, show me your TTT 😀

  1. That is one eye-catching version of Harry Potter! Other people have shared various editions of that series this week, too, and I’m truly enjoying seeing them.

    My TTT.
