‘Sup? Welcome to WWW Wednesday!
This meme was formerly hosted by MizB at A Daily Rhythm and is now hosted by Sam at Taking on a World of Words.
Basically just answer these three questions:
- What are you currently reading?
- What did you recently finish reading?
- What do you think you’ll read next?
What are you currently reading?
Kafka on the Shore by Haruki Murakami

This is a long time coming. I recently reconnected with somebody close to me and who surprised me with an amazing Christmas package last year and this was one of the gifts. This person means so much to me and I also want to throttle him so he should be happy to know I’m finally reading it so we can discuss lmao.
What did you recently finish reading?

Resurrection Girls by Ava Morgyn. That book is…a lot but good! You can check out my review for it by clicking this entire sentence lmao.
What do you think you’ll read next?

I’ve been trying to get through my pile of ARCs from Netgalley so I’m not too sure. It depends on my mood…Do I want a light chick lit? Or do I prefer murder. Or how about a mix? I am very interested in Check In at the Pine Away Motel by Katarina Bivald. It’s about the death of a woman who worked in the motel cabins her entire life and how she views her friends and family going through life without her.
It’s truly up to mood though! Lol, whats your WWW?
I really enjoyed The Resurrection Girls! It was very unique.

I really want to read a Murakami some day. Norwegian Wood is the one that keeps speaking to me from my local library’s shelves lol! But I’ve been too nervous to pick it up 🙈

Oooh, you’ve totally sold me on Resurrection Girls. Loved your review. I’m filing it away for a time when I’m in for something that’s going to break my feels in all the good ways. Happy reading!

Kafka on the Shore was the first Murakami book that I ever picked up and… I don’t know what I was expecting but all that funky magical realism was not it. I think this was my first experience with magical realism too. I read it in HS so I wonder if I was too ‘young’ to appreciate it at the time lol I’m thinking of giving Murakami another chance soon! Hope you enjoy it 😊
