August Burns Red: August TBR

How is it August already??? Time has truly flown and soon my daughter will be back in school AND FALL WILL BE UPON US THANK GOD.

August welcomes a change thankfully and with it a flood of new books. I have a lot I need to read. I read about 25ish books in July and want to read at least 30 in August but I also start my new job next week and have to get Juliet ready for school so we will see 🙂

I also run a book club called Welcome to the Book Parade along with fellow blogger bookswhitme . We did a thing and we’re reading three books this month because we’re insane so…there’s that LOL. Yeah, it’s going to be a wild month for sure.

Our theme this month was a random book and Wilder Girls by Rory Power won! We also just started our first ever Series read and my suggestion of Shadow and Bone by Leigh Bardugo won. Also, ALSO, we are doing a Series throwback read and Fear Street by R.L. Stine won!!

LOL I told you very busy month. I’m excited though. If you’d like to join my bookclub the link is right here. We’re very laidback and vote on a book or two once a month. Yes, it’s named after the My Chemical Romance album/song LOL.

Here are some of the other August books that I’m going to try my hardest to dive into. I really want to tear into that coveted 80% Netgalley rating.

There are obviously so many more I want to read and more importantly I read for myself. For my enjoyment, I read because I love to read and I blog because I love connecting with people and that’s what it’s really about in the end.

Happy reading and writing to us all and a happy new month!
