Monthly Wrap-Up: July

me to all of these books

I have to thank my good friend Arian for this idea πŸ™‚ a wrap up of all the books I read in the month of July. A wrap up of everything I’ve done in this blog tbh!

So here we go… Here are all the books I’ve reviewed this month! It’s a lot fair warning.

ARC Review: A Stranger On the Beach by Michele Campbell – πŸ’œ πŸ’œ πŸ’œ πŸ’œ This was an intense thriller that switched between two narratives. Perfect beach mystery for the summer.

ARC Review: The Scandal by Nicola Mars– πŸ’œ πŸ’œ πŸ’œ A clunky murder mystery that made up for it with its women characters.

ARC Review: A Summer to Remember by Victoria Cooke – πŸ’œ πŸ’œ πŸ’œ πŸ’œ πŸ’œ Super cute chick lit! From London to Boston, you’ll cry you’ll laugh.

ARC Review: The Darkest Summer by Ella Drummond – πŸ’œ πŸ’œ πŸ’œ πŸ’œ Dark and fiery, it sizzles but doesn’t scorch.

Book Review: The Wicked Deep by Shea Ernshaw – πŸ’œ πŸ’œ πŸ’œ πŸ’œ πŸ’œ One of my favorites of the year. Cannot reccomend this enough.

ARC Review: The Little Bookshop at Herring Cove by Kellie Hailes – πŸ’œ πŸ’œ πŸ’œ This was cute but not super memorable.

ARC Review: Tell Me Everything by Cambria Brockman – πŸ’œ πŸ’œ πŸ’œ Wanna read about privileged college students partying and a somewhat murder? Well this one is for YOU.

ARC Review: Palm Trees and Paparazzi by J.C. Long – πŸ’œ πŸ’œ πŸ’œ πŸ’œ Cozy mystery set in Hawaii, hilarious and fun.

Book Review: Undead Girl Gang by Lily Anderson – πŸ’œ πŸ’œ πŸ’œ πŸ’œ πŸ’œ Look, just read this book.

Book Review: The Last Time I Lied by Riley Sager – πŸ’œ πŸ’œ πŸ’œ πŸ’œ πŸ’œ One of the very reasons why I will NOT go camping.

Lightning Fast Review: The Sea Was a Fair Master by Calvin Demmer – πŸ’œ πŸ’œ πŸ’œ πŸ’œ πŸ’œ Fantastic horror anthology.

Book Review: Small Spaces by Katherine Arden – πŸ’œ πŸ’œ πŸ’œ πŸ’œ πŸ’œ Katherine Arden is a god.

ARC Review: One Little Secret by Cate Holahan – πŸ’œ πŸ’œ A rare murder mystery miss for me. Very disappointed.

ARC Review: Reverie by Ryan La Sala – πŸ’œ πŸ’œ πŸ’œ Persona 5 in bookform

ARC Review: Never Have I Ever by Joshilyn Jackson – πŸ’œ πŸ’œ πŸ’œ πŸ’œ Never will I play this game.

Book Review: Don’t Date Rosa Santos by Nina Moreno – πŸ’œ πŸ’œ πŸ’œ πŸ’œ πŸ’œ Such a great book! Please check this one out.

ARC Review: The Widow of Pale Harbor by Hester Fox – πŸ’œ πŸ’œ πŸ’œ πŸ’œ Hester Fox is back and she’s still amazingly witchy.

ARC Review: Mooncakes by Suzanne Walker and Wendy Xu – πŸ’œ πŸ’œ πŸ’œ πŸ’œ Sweet and poignant with cute artwork!

ARC Review: The Ghost Collector by Allison Mills – πŸ’œ πŸ’œ πŸ’œ πŸ’œ πŸ’œ Gorgeous glimpse at Cree culture and a handling of grief in its own special way.

ARC Review: Reputation by Sara Shepard – πŸ’œ πŸ’œ πŸ’œ Pretty Little Liars all grown up. Ridiculous fun.

ARC Review: A World Full of Spooky Stories by Angela McAllister – πŸ’œ πŸ’œ πŸ’œ πŸ’œ Spooky short stories from all around the world! A must read.

Some more things which I WILL blow my own horn about thank you very much:

It’s been a hell of a year. and month and I am so happy I made this blog because I’m having so much fun and meeting so many awesome people. I lost my grandmother last month and at the same time lost the relationship I was in. Just yesterday my family’s sweet cat passed away… It’s been tough but I have great friends and I feel like I will find my happiness again…

You’re all AWESOME!
